Hi guys! Just popping in for a quick round-up of cool stuff I found while thrifting at the local antique mall this month.
I don’t even know if thrifting is the right term but antiquing sounds kind of stuffy and expensive, ha. Once a month I like to take a quick spin through a secondhand store of some kind. Whether highly-curated or a hot mess of stuff packing the shelves, you can always find at least a few gems almost anywhere. In college, I would thrift for unusual clothes and accessories, but when I became a homeowner my focus shifted to finding unique pieces to add soul and quirk to my space.
A few weeks ago I headed down to Jeffrey’s Antique Co-Op Mall and found this funky bunch:
If that blanket is still there I might snag it for the loungey library I am tackling for my One Room Challenge. The vibe may or may not work but the colors are perfect. Can’t hurt to try, right? I’m also thinking that little rug might make for a perfect dog bed for in front of the fireplace…
If you are in or around central MA, definitely check out Jefferey’s, and if you have any favorite thrift, antique, vintage, or secondhand stores to recommend please share in the comments below!
